Description

Follow the marks "Le Laÿ" then Arâches. Pass a magnificent farmhouse and then turn left, signposted "Les Carroz - 1h20".
Cross a field, (close all gates behind you).
"La Pierre est Laya est l'endroit" is a geological curiosity: rocks remaining from the ice age. The legend says that giant, coming off the glacier which existed between Flaine and Annecy, removes the stone (fr. pierre) bothering him in his boot. Return to the path through a pine forest, follow the marks "Les Carroz" or "Pré du Bois" or "Le Serveray".
