Snowshoe treks around Samoëns

Leave your own tracks in virgin snow, enjoy the friendly atmosphere of an outing with a group and find out about the natural environment. Contact middle-altitude guides - they have a mountain of suggestions!

Below are all sorts of outings on offer in the village:

• Half-day or full-day treks to get used to snowshoes
• Moonlit treks ending with a typical meal of fondue, bougnettes (a sort of doughnut) etc.)
• Torchlight descents,
• Special-interesting outings to learn the basics of orienteering, find out about snow cover, read animal tracks, enjoy the scenery etc.
• Treks lasting several days to feel at one with the mountains (overnight in mountain huts)
