The chapel in Chantemerle

Description

This is a delightful onion-domed chapel nestling among the houses in the village that has given it its name. In the 19th century, a procession still came to the chapel to save the harvest during prolonged drought or period of non-stop rain.
St. François de Sales is a popular saint in Savoie and is often seen as a multi-talented healer. Today, he is the patron saint of journalists and, by extension, of writers.
