Take a step back in time by visiting this traditional farm restored to its condition in the 19th century. The Guides to the Heritage of Savoy have brought together an impressive collection of period utensils to illustrate everyday life on the slopes around Samoens. Having established the idea to revive this traditional farm as it was in 1815, the Clos Parchet Farm Folk Museum opened to the public in 1994. Authentically restored with its 19th century furnishings, the farm describes the period through its living room and kitchen. Farm work in the surrounding fields and the trades of the period are also illustrated by a large collection of objects, displayed by subject in the barn. The visit ends with a snack.
